Après une prière du matin émouvante préparée par la Province  australienne en action de grâces pour ceux qui  nous ont portés sur les épaules, nous avons discuté sur des questions concernant le chapitre général suivant, comme il est dit dans la Constitution numéro 102:

…..Le Conférence Générale a pour but ….. d’étudier ce qui est dit dans les Constitutions et le Règlement concernant la convocation et la composition du Chapitre Général.

Et dans les Constitutions numéro 202, il dit :

Environ deux ans avant, lors d’une conférence générale, la Supérieure Générale consulte les Supérieures Provinciales au sujet d’une date approximative pour le Chapitre Général, son lieu et sa durée, la composition du Chapitre et les sujets possibles à traiter. Elle déterminera aussi, en consultation avec les Supérieures Provinciales, la date vers laquelle les Chapitres Provinciaux doivent être tenus. Si une Province a été dispensée de tenir un Chapitre, on fixera la date vers laquelle les déléguées doivent être élues.

Nous avons terminé la journée avec notre Eucharistie et une autre soirée culturelle.

 

Day 13

After a touching morning prayer prepared by the Australian Province in thanksgiving for the ones on whose shoulders we stand, we dealt with issues concerning the coming General Chapter. Constitution no. 102 says:

….. The purpose of the General Conference is ….. to consider matters specified in the Constitutions and Directory concerning the convocation and the composition of the General Chapter.

And Constitution no. 202 says:

About two years prior (to the General Chapter), at the General Conference, the congregational leader consults with the provincial leaders in relation to an approximate date for the General Chapter, its location and duration, the composition of the chapter and possible matters to be addressed. She also will determine, in consultation with the provincial leaders, the date by which the provincial chapters should be held. If a province has been dispensed from holding a chapter, the date by which delegates must be elected is determined.

 

We ended the day with our Eucharist and another cultural night.
