Je viens du village d’Aipeana dans la Province centrale de Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guinée. La ville la plus proche est Port Moresby. Pour y arriver, je voyage sur l’autoroute Hiritano durant environ 4-5 heures car la route est mauvaise, si la route était bonne, il faudrait 3 heures pour se rendre à Port Moresby depuis mon village.
Je suis enseignant de profession. Actuellement, j’enseigne dans un grand internat mixte qui a environ 600 élèves, 305 garçons et 295 filles. À l’école, j’occupe le poste d’enseignant directeur adjoint qui veille à la mise en œuvre et à l’évaluation du programme d’études. J’enseigne également les mathématiques avancées en 12e année et je m’occupe de la coordination pour les étudiantes. Le dimanche, je donne des conférences spirituelles aux associés laïcs juniors étudiants à l’école.
Quant au Chapitre Général, c’est la première fois que j’y participe. J’espère que ce sera une expérience spirituelle remplie de grâce, me donnant l’occasion d’élargir ma connaissance des œuvres de toute la Congrégation. En même temps, cette expérience me donnera de l’énergie de continuer à faire connaître et aimer le Cœur de Jésus partout.

I come from Aipeana Village in the Central Province of Papua New Guinea. The nearest city is Port Moresby. To get there, I travel on the Hiritano Highway which takes about 4-5 hours on a bad road, if the road is good it takes 3 hours to get to Port Moresby from my village.
I am a teacher by profession. At present, I am teaching in a big co-educational boarding school that has a population of about 600 students, of which 305 are boys and 295 are girls. In the school, I hold the teaching position of Deputy Principal which looks after the curriculum implementation and assessment. I also teach grade 12 Advance Mathematics and am also the overall co-ordinator for the female students. On Sundays, I give Spiritual inputs to the Junior Lay Associates who are students in the school.
As for the General Chapter, this is my first time to attend one. I hope this will be a grace-filled experience for me, allowing me to broaden my knowledge of the works of the Congregation as a whole. At the same time, it will energize me to continue to make his heart known and loved everywhere.

Je viens de Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guinée, d’une petite province insulaire de l’est de la Nouvelle-Bretagne. Cette île a quelques volcans actifs et je vis près de l’un d’eux. C’est pourquoi mon île de Nouvelle-Bretagne a une terre fertile pour jardiner; comme passe temps, je plante toutes sortes de fleurs et de plantes potagères.
Je suis de profession enseignante au secondaire; actuellement je suis adjointe à l’enseignement dans l’une des écoles catholiques mixtes de la province. J’aime communiquer avec ces jeunes, car ils viennent de différents milieux et leur vie est particulièrement intéressante.
Ce sera la première fois que je participe à un Chapitre général. J’espère et je prie pour que ce chapitre élargisse ma vision en tant que vraie Fille de Notre-Dame du Sacré-Cœur et me donne de vivre plus pleinement mon apostolat, et plus particulièrement de répandre l’Amour du Cœur de Jésus aux jeunes.

I come from Papua New Guinea and a small Island Province of East New Britain. This island is full of a few active volcanoes and I live near one of them. That is why my island of New Britain is rich in garden soil and I can plant all kinds of flowers and garden food as my hobby.
I am a Secondary school teacher by profession and currently am Deputy Academic in one of the Co-educational Catholic Schools in the Province. I love dealing with these young people as they come from different backgrounds and their lives are uniquely interesting.
This will be my first time to attend a General Chapter. I hope and pray that this chapter will broaden my outlook of being a true Daughter of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and live more fully in the apostolate I am working in. Most especially how I can spread the Love of the Heart of Jesus to them.

I am from the Province of Africa, I am the Regional Superior of the Cameroon Region. This will be my first participation in a General Chapter.
My wishes for the Chapter are: To experience the life of a family, of a body, openness to the Holy Spirit and among the delegates, for the dynamism of the members and the vitality of our Charism.

Je viens d’Indonésie. En ce moment, je suis membre du Conseil provincial qui est responsable de la Commission de formation dans la province. C’est la quatrième fois que je participe au Chapitre général.
Je souhaite que le chapitre soit fructueux et que l’Esprit Saint continue d’inspirer chacune, afin que les décisions qui seront prises nous aident à répondre aux cris et aux espoirs de notre monde avec un grand esprit d’amour.

I am from Indonesia. At this moment I am the member of the Provincial Council that is responsible for the Formation Commission in the Province. This is my fourth time to participate in the General Chapter.
I wish that the Chapter will be fruitful and that the Holy Spirit may continue to inspire each one so that the decisions that will be taken will help us to respond to the cries and hopes of our world with a big spirit of love.

I am from the Irish Province. I am a member of the Pastoral Team attached to St. Anne’s Nursing Home in Ballybay. It is my first time to attend a General Chapter.

Après 9 ans et demi de provincialat, je vis dans une petite communauté paisible et fraternelle. J’ai commencé, avec Sr Denise Doppler, à trier et à 
classer les archives de la Province de France. Je prends un peu de temps pour approfondir mes connaissances historiques sur l’Histoire de l’Eglise et de la théologie en France (cours d’histoire, lectures). Je suis économe adjointe et je participe aux réflexions concernant l’avenir de nos propriétés.
Ce Chapitre Général sera mon troisième. Mes attentes :
- Partant de la situation actuelle de la vie religieuse de nos pays, que ce chapitre renouvelle notre regard sur la mission afin de trouver de nouvelles perspectives.
- Que les orientations de ce chapitre dynamisent notre vie en tenant compte de nos limites humaines, culturelles et individuelles.
- Que ces orientations favorisent le développement de nos œuvres en tenant compte de la qualification et du nombre de Sœurs pour que ces œuvres témoignent de notre charisme.

After 9 and a half years in the provincialate of France, I now live in a small, peaceful and fraternal community. Sr. Denise Doppler and I have begun to sort out and classify the archives of the French Province. I am taking some time to deepen my knowledge of the history of the Church and theology in France (history courses, readings). I am assistant bursar and I participate in reflections concerning the future of our properties. This General Chapter will be my third.
My expectations :
- Based on the current situation of religious life in our countries, may this Chapter renew our view of the mission to find new perspectives.
- May the orientations of this Chapter energize our life by taking into account our human, cultural and individual limitations.
- That these orientations encourage the development of our works, taking into account the qualifications and the number of Sisters so that these works will bear witness to our charism.

Je viens au Chapitre général comme représentante de la Province de Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guinée. Je suis originaire de la Province de l’Est de la Nouvelle-Bretagne, archidiocèse de Rabaul.
Je suis enseignant de profession et j’ai enseigné à différents niveaux dans le pays : en tant qu’enseignante à l’école primaire, enseignante au secondaire et chargée de cours au “OLSH Teachers College Kabaleo”, dans l’est de la Nouvelle-Bretagne.
J’ai été douze ans au Conseil général (2000 – 2011) et je suis maintenant sur ma 8e année en tant que Supérieure provinciale. Ce sera la 5ème fois que je participe à un Chapitre Général. J’espère qu’à partir de ce Chapitre, nous pourrons, dans l’avenir, poursuivre notre mission avec un esprit missionnaire alors que nous faisons face à l’émergence d’un nouveau monde; et ceci quoique signifie ce nouveau monde pour chaque Province et pour toute la Congrégation.

I come to the General Chapter representing Papua New Guinea Province. I originally come from East New Britain Province, Archdiocese of Rabaul.
I am a teacher by profession and have taught at different levels within the country: as a Primary school teacher, secondary school teacher and lecturer at OLSH Teachers College Kabaleo, East New Britain.
I was twelve years on the General Council (2000 – 2011) and am now on my 8th year as Provincial Leader. This will be my 5th time to attend the General Chapter. My hope is that, from this Chapter, we can continue our missionary spirit into the future as we face the new world emerging; for whatever this new world means for each Province and as the whole Congregation.

Je viens de la Province indonésienne. Je suis très reconnaissante de faire partie de la Congrégation FDNSC. Je suis enseignante de formation. Depuis ma profession 
temporaire, on m’a confiée un travail éducatif. Depuis le 21 juillet 2017, je suis Provinciale de la Province indonésienne. Ce sera ma deuxième expérience de participer à un Chapitre général. La première fois que j’y ai participé, c’était en 2014.
Mon espoir en participant à ce Chapitre Général 2020 est le suivant :
Par des rencontres avec les Sœurs représentant toute la Congrégation, à la lumière de la foi, par des prières, des réflexions, des discussions et des débats dans le chemin de foi et dans la dynamique impliquant toute la congrégation, je trouverai des éclaircissements (des lumières) pour le renouvellement des missions, en particulier pour la Province indonésienne. Ainsi, nous pouvons répondre aux exigences des missions dans un monde en constante évolution.

I am from the Indonesian Province. I am very grateful and thankful for being part of the FDNSC Congregation. My background was a teacher. Since I was a temporary professed Sister, I have been entrusted in educational work. Since July 21, 2017, I have been serving as the Leader of the Indonesian Province. This time will be my second experience attending a General Chapter. The first time I took part was in 2014.
My hope in participating in the 2020 General Chapter is:
Through encounters with the Sisters representing the whole Congregation, and in the light of faith, through prayers, reflections, discussions and proceedings in the journey of faith and in the dynamics involving the whole congregation, I will gain enlightenment for the renewal of the missions, especially in the Indonesian Province. In this way, we can meet the demands of the missions in a constantly changing new world.

Je suis la Supérieure régionale de la région FDNSC de Papouasie en Indonésie. C’est la première fois que je participe à un Chapitre général. Mon souhait est que le processus du Chapitre général, sous l’impulsion du Sacré-Cœur et de la Mère du Sacré-Cœur, se passe bien. J’espère que les résultats et les décisions du Chapitre général seront bénéfiques pour la vie, la vocation et la mission de la Congrégation FDNSC dans les lieux où les sœurs sont appelées et envoyées.

I am the Regional Leader of the FDNSC region of Papua in Indonesia. It is my first time to participate in a General Chapter. My wish is that the process of the General Chapter, with the guidance of the Sacred Heart and the Mother of the Sacred Heart, will go well. I hope that the results and decisions of the General Chapter will be of benefit for the life, the vocation and the mission of the FDNSC Congregation where they are called and sent.

Je suis d’Indonésie. Mon ministère actuel est d’être Supérieure de la Région des Moluques pour la période 2019-2022. C’est la première fois que j’assiste à un Chapitre général.
Mon espoir en participant à ce Chapitre Général, qui est un événement spirituel rempli de grâce, est que j’approfondisse notre spiritualité pour en vivre, ce qui sera fécond dans la vie quotidienne de la communauté et dans la mission afin que l’amour de Dieu soit plus connu et offert à l’expérience de beaucoup de gens, en particulier des pauvres qui vivent autour de nous.

I am from Indonesia. My present ministry is being the Leader of the Moluccas Region for the period 2019-2022. This is my first time attending a General Chapter.
My hope from taking part in these days of the General Chapter, which is a grace-filled and spiritual event, is that I will deepen the living out of our spirituality which will be fruitful in daily community life and in the mission so that the love of God will be more known and experienced by many people, especially the poor who live around us.

Je suis brésilienne. J’aime voyager pour apprendre à connaître de nouvelles cultures et j’aime lire pour la même raison. Être avec les Sœurs est important pour moi parce que d’habitude nous avons beaucoup de plaisir ensemble et nous pouvons partager notre sororité. Je suis Supérieure provinciale du Brésil en ce moment. Ce n’est pas la première fois que je participe à un Chapitre Général – c’est ma quatrième fois! Pour moi, c’est un privilège de pouvoir participer et contribuer à une réunion aussi importante dans ma chère Congrégation.

I am Brazilian. I like to travel to get to know new cultures and I love to read for the same reason. To be with the Sisters is special to me because usually we have lots of fun together and we can share our sorority. I am the Provincial Leader in Brazil at the moment. This is not my first time to take part in a General Chapter – it is my fourth time! For me, it is a privilege to be able to participate and contribute to such an important meeting in my dear Congregation.

Je suis néerlandaise, mais depuis 6 ans, je vis au Généralat à Rome au service de notre Congrégation en tant que Conseillère générale. Ce sera la 5ème fois que je participe à un Chapitre Général.
Mon souhait pour le Chapitre, je voudrais l’exprimer avec le texte d’une chanson: «Que notre venue (au Chapitre, mais aussi notre retour dans nos Communautés, Régions, Provinces et Ministères) apporte la bénédiction de Dieu et que notre passage laisse Sa Paix. Puissions-nous être ses missionnaires!

I am Dutch, but for 6 years I have been living in the Generalate in Rome to serve in our Congregation as a General Councillor. This will be the 5th time that I participate in a General Chapter.My wish for the Chapter I would like to express with the text of a song:“May our coming (to the Chapter, but also back to our Communities, Regions, Provinces and Ministries) bring God’s blessing and our going leave His Peace. May we be his missionaries!”
